Despite being a person who very much encourages people to ask their community for help when they need it, I’m not one that often follows my own advice. So I’m asking for help. With a twist. Recently I had my bike stolen, a beautiful addition to my life a year ago, that gave me a new healthy hobby and introduced me to a new community in Columbus. My good friend, artist, and all-around amazing person Joey Aich, also had his bike stolen, in taking this opportunity to help us both get back on two wheels. We would like to help both replace our bikes AND raise money for other people to find community through biking, adding a $500 or more donation for Franklinton Cycle Works, a non-profit we love that offers refurbished bikes, access to tools, and education to help strengthen the bike community and make access to biking more equitable. We both work in in Franklinton and love our community. We thank you for anything you want to contribute.
