**update** Thanks to everyones generosity we were able to get Anne’s car out of impound, fresh battery, and a full tank of gas. We have some amazing neighbors. Hello neighbors, my name is Joe I live in Clyde. We’ve had a neighbor for the past few years that lives in her car on Port Chicago under Hwy4, her name is Anne. The circumstances that brought her to this specific location are unknown but from what I pick up there is a sentimental attachment from what may have been a traumatic event that happened there. Last weekend she was taken to the hospital with a medical issue and was released last night in Walnut Creek. She walked all the way back here only to find her car had been towed, including her phone and personal belongings. I’ve tracked it down to a local tow yard, Concord Tow World. It was towed 7/10/23 which includes tow fee, gate fee, plus $100/day storage fee. The total fees are at about $1000 if it’s picked up Monday. Are there any other neighbors willing to pitch in and help spring her car from impound? I have a truck and trailer we can pick it up with. We will put $300 toward the fees and can transport her there to pick it up. Hoping we can all get together and help her out.
