Georgia Women's Hockey was founded in 2024 with the mission of "growing the game" for ALL women, particularly in the Southeast. By creating an encouraging environment for all women, Georgia Women's Club Hockey aims to empower women to grow in their hockey skills, try hockey for the first time, and become confident in the hockey player that they are- on and off the ice. The club welcomes any hard-working, determined, and passionate women- no matter their skill level. Starting in the Fall of 2024, Georgia Women's Hockey will be a part of the DII Women's Ice Hockey Division of the Collegiate Hockey South conference. Unfortunately, ice hockey is quite an expensive sport. One hour of ice costs upwards of $400. With one practice per week, plus games, jerseys, travel costs, equipment, league fees, and many more random fees, the costs add up quickly. Our team is completely self-funded through player dues, sponsorships, and donations, as are most club sports. Supporting our program not only helps us give college women the opportunity to play hockey but also helps us support grassroots youth hockey organizations! Help us to #growthegame by giving today! :)
