Hello. My name is Shelly and my fiancé’s name is Judson. Unfortunately, Judson has been quite ill over the last several months, including three heart attacks, vasculitis affecting his entire body, a great amount of intractable pain and osteomyelitis of his right foot. Recently, Judson has had two toes amputated as well as surrounding soft tissue, which ultimately has altered his balance greatly. Judson is currently hospitalized for a second toe amputation related to osteomyelitis but will be discharged soon. However, our home is not quite accessible for him as he will need a gentle ramp installed to ensure he enters and exits our home safely. Also, there is a great chance another foot surgery will be required along with six to eight weeks of IV antibiotics, for osteomyelitis, as we are awaiting bone diagnostics and subsequent pathological findings. Not only will a gentle ramp help with safety but it will also help with his quality of life as he will have easier access to enter and exit our home to participate in everyday life but it will also help with much anticipated follow-up appointments with a great deal of physicians involved in his treatment. Judson and I would deeply appreciate any financial assistance you are able to provide in our time of need. More importantly, your prayers and well-wishes are deeply appreciated too. Both of us thank you for your time and may God bless you and your family and friends.
