Hi, my name is Tameka and I live and work in Chicago. I am fundraising for my co-worker, Graciela and her daughter Daisy. I appreciate you taking a moment to read this, and if you are willing and able, consider helping Graciela and Daisy rebuild a home. As many of you know the Chicago area was hit hard by flash flooding, particularly the Cicero part of the town. Graciela’s ground-floor apartment in Cicero was flooded, and while they were able to recover smaller items and clothing, most things were unsalvageable, and their home is now uninhabitable. They're currently staying with family. She’s now faced with finding housing and rebuilding a home for herself and Daisy. Whatever you can give, any little bit, would be a great help as they start to rebuild. The funds will be used to help secure housing, purchase necessities, and eventually new furniture.
