Jeff Philie, owner/farmer of Hallow Herb Farm, lost 100% of his planted herb crops to the Winooski River flooding this week like every farm on Burlington’s Intervale. He has completely lost his season start-up costs, 100s of hours of labor, and his future harvest income for the season. Jeff has stewarded this land for 8 years with his own two hands, a lotta sweat and love to grow 1000s of pounds of vibrant medicinal herbs for local herb shops, breweries, the coop, and herbal medicine makers, as well as creating a biodiverse pollinator sanctuary for our community on the banks of the river. We want him to continue being there for us, making powerful local organic herbs! Please help us raise funds to keep him going!
