The Macris Family are 3 generations of powerful women, who have owned their house and garage apartment in Barre, Vermont for 23 years. On Monday they lost their home in the flood, and are working tirelessly to get back on their feet! They are facing an extreme uphill climb. Much of the rebuilding and reequipping is on them. Their home is now hazardous due to a fuel oil leak in the basement that has permeated the upper floors. Linda is a 72-year-old retired woman on a fixed income, and her garage apartment was a total loss. Justine drives for UPS, and Zea is finishing college. They have been uprooted from their homes and currently staying at a close relative's house. They require immense help rebuilding their home as they are currently preparing for a possible second flood later today and into the upcoming week. We are all in this weather crisis together.
