Over the years that I have known KP, I have known him as a variety streamer, a voice actor, a cosplayer, a cultural consultant and a photographer. Even more than that, I have known him as being loud and proud of being South Asian in a way that has always inspired and affirmed me. KP is a giver and he gives so much art and beauty to the TTRPG community and he has captured countless members of this community through his incredible photography. We are raising funds for KP through this LFEBridge because in addition to his home recently flooding due to a roof leak and resulting in personal items and property being damaged, KP lost his job and is now facing a baby delivery with no medical insurance to cover it. These are all very significant expenses and could potentially result in a lot of debt, so we want to try and give KP a leg up on getting some of that stressful financial stuff taken care of. KP is a beacon of inspiration. His work has touched so many of our lives. But recently he's been going through some rough times and I think he, his family, and his soon to arrive baby deserve to know that we have his back. KP puts out so much good into the world and it is time for us to reflect that love and goodness back. So often we tell ourselves that people have it worse than us, without acknowledging the absolute heckery that life had dealt us. it's okay to need help, my dude. it's okay to ask for help. and it's okay to receive it. think of all you've done for the community over the years. you're not well known because you're famous, or on TV, you're well known because you are kind and giving and see all of us in our best light. Heck, you made me no longer afraid of my bathroom mirror. That kind of power needs tending, and sometimes that tending comes in the form of two VERY determined women hoping to ease your burden. so put it on our shoulders for a while, and let us carry the load." So this is us, carrying it happily so he can finally have some breathing room. We hope to surround him with so much love that he can, even for a brief moment, feel relief.
