Hello, My name is Cody Baldwin, My wife's name is Alayna Baldwin. I appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. Back in April 2024, our Daughter Harper had an accident that resulted in needing stitches on her eyebrow. (She hit her head on the countertop) Alayna took Harper to the local emergency center for her needed medical care. Upon their visit, the nurse made a false claim that resulted in CPS contacting us for an Investigation. We hired our lawyer and cooperated throughout the entire investigation because we knew we did nothing wrong. CPS sent us a letter saying the case was closed. They had no evidence but added to the file reason to belive there was abuse. Fast forward we get an unexpected knock at the door to find out the state has picked up a Felony charge on Alayna. These past four months have been a financial struggle, we are new homeowners and the unexpected lawyer fees have put me in a position I'm not sure how to get out of without asking for a little help. The police had a warrent and we complied with the warrent. My wife is currently locked up on a 250k bond and i dont have 10% to get her out. Amongst paying the lawyer fees and her bond we are trying to prove her innocence. No school or daycare or friends and everyone that knows my family has ever seen or reported abuse of my children this really was a accident of my child. Please any money donated will be used to secure my wife's lawyer and any legal fees moving forward. Im currently not paying my mortgage to appropriate all money to her bond and lawyer. An innocent women is fighting for her freedom.
