Hello my name is Barbara, i am one of the daughter's to Albert and Gloria Rocha. My Dad worked hard in the 70's to buy my Mom this home. This is the home both of my parents raised all 5 kids. The home where they have seen their grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up and celebrate many holidays in. Unfortunately, being an older home, it started to have plumbing and foundation problems. So all of their kids gathered as much money to be able to bless them with a more updated and stable home. We hired a contractor in October and has done pervious work for other members of the family. We put our trust in this contractor to fix up their home. The first month they started off with the plumbing, foundation, and demolition work. We were seeing progress with their work and thought the job was getting done. Then in December my Dad's health took a turn and he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Urothelial Carcinoma Cancer. As he was going through rounds of chemo trying to fight, he was being told by the contractor that they were getting the work done. They started to screen our calls and gave us the run around. But of course, not before they had already gotten ahold of most the money we gathered to get the house fixed by telling us more money was needed to buy material, when nothing was really bought. On June 14th my Dad lost his battle to Cancer. He was unable to see his house remodeled. Now we must start from scratch to repair the house and make it livable again for our mom.
