Traci and her 4 kids, are trapped in a heart-wrenching nightmare caused by many years of brutal physical and emotional abuse by Traci’s ex-husband. Traci, suffers from debilitating PTSD, caused by the years of unspeakable brutal abuse by her ex-husband. Unable to work, her monthly SSI check does not provide enough funds to cover the cost of renting an apartment and the most basic life necessities for Traci and her 4 children. Despite the existence of agencies and organizations specifically designed to provide assistance to those in need, Traci has been let down by the very social safety net that should have offered her support. It is disheartening that the agencies she turned to for help lacked the resources, empathy, or a sense of urgency to address her dire circumstances. Their failure to provide the necessary aid, legal and otherwise, reflects a systemic breakdown, leaving vulnerable individuals like Traci and her children stranded without a lifeline. Traci has exhausted every avenue seeking help from various public & private social & religious affiliated agencies, only to be rejected at every turn. These agencies either lacked the resources or a sense of urgency to address Traci & her family’s very dire circumstances. Traci turns to all of us as her last hope, through a desperate LFEBridge campaign.
