So, hi - my name's Cordela and I'm 14 years old. This year I auditioned to join Dance Troupe with Dance Extreme and honestly I didn't think I was going to make it because I've only ever danced Acro before and I had to audition for every style of dance (even ballet!)... BUT I made it! I was chosen for 4 group dances, a duo and a solo (I'm SO excited). I thought this was the best possible outcome, but then... After I made Dance Troupe, I found out that everyone who made it was invited to go perform our dances at the 2024 Olympics in France!!! We'll be performing 4 times throughout the 9-day trip- not only at the Olympics, but also at Disneyland Paris. I still can't believe it! Obviously this trip will be expensive. There's not only all the travel costs, but also dance classes, choreography classes, costumes, makeup, and even just general dance attire (I need ballet shoes now!) That's why we've set up this LFEBridge page - to help cover the costs of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
