Hi my name is Steven, I'm a Brother of the lodge and Chairman of the fundraising committee. I'd like to ask for your help keep the Clementine McDuff Elks Lodge legacy alive for another 100 years. The lodge has a rich history of community service, entertainment and culture dating back to the early 1900's and is one of the only black owned commercial spaces left in San Diego county. We're excited to announce that the process has began to make the building a historic landmark. We're raising money to cover the costs of various expenses and to create a fund for all costs related to maintaining the building. We also want to prevent our elders from having to pay out of pocket for maintenance of the lodge. Short Term Goals: Renew the non-profit status Payback Loans Building repairs Long Term Goals: Quarterly and Annual Bills Restoration
