I am writing in high hopes and prayer on behalf of my cousin Cisilia Defang who is born deaf and is now fighting for her life. On July 4th 2024 Cisilia went into work at Kanemitsu Bakery and we were called a few hours later she was rushed into Molokai General Hospital and had to be rushed via Emergency Helicopter from Molokai to Honolulu Straub Hospital where she is fighting for her life she has 2nd and 3rd degree burns almost 70% of her body she is heavily sedated due to her injuries. We as a family are praying for her to make a full recovery due to this sudden unexpected tragedy. We are asking for any donations and prayers at this time for Cisilia to help with her medical expenses and future recovery efforts. We are praying for her and asking god to heal her pain and make a full recovery. On July 12th her sister Tricia George who has been by her side since this tragedy happen says she had to have surgery on both her arms and legs due to the accident she will still be intubated and heavily sedated after the surgery. Cisilia was in the ICU for over a month along with the breathing tube on August 3rd Cisilia was moved to the Telemetry Burn Unit and out of the ICU. Her doctors advised us Cisilia is making a slow and positive progress. The physical therapist along with acupuncture therapist come to help Cisilia once a day. We are praying that her next upcoming surgery will be successful like the first surgery. "Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved for you are the one I praise."
