Hi, my name is Tina (Greenstreet ) Wolfe, and I am fundraising for my dear friend Maria (Minguzzi) Christopoulos and her beautiful family. The Christopoulos family suffered an unimaginable loss in the early morning of July 27, 2024. AT 2:46 AM Thursday morning, the family reported a fire in their Aldi, Va home. When firefighters arrived, they found visible fire from the front and side of the house and requested additional resources. Fire crews quickly attacked the fire from the exterior with a deck gun. Once deemed safe, firefighters entered the home to extinguish the remaining fire and look for extension. Fire and rescue crews quickly brought the fire under control, minimizing fire spread and further damage to the remainder of the house. Thankfully, they all escaped without injury, and with their pets. Many of you who know Maria and Stav, know that they will do anything for the people in their lives and their community. Now it's up to us to help this amazing family of 7! They have nothing!! They left the house with the clothing on their backs. Their 5 kids are 17, 15, 13, 9, 7 all of whom need simply just the basics. It's impossible to know when or how long before they will receive any assistance from the insurance company. Any donation you make will go directly towards providing the family with temporary shelter, clothing, food, as well as minimal living necessities.
