Hello everyone, I am the Chief of Police in Bethesda, Ohio. Every year since I became the Chief, our town has had a Christmas with Cops event. We had many generous sponsors and volunteers. Thank you to EVERYONE who donated time, money, toys, talent and skills. We were able to take ten children shopping in 2024. They and their parents were also treated to delicious food from restaurants in St Clairsville, Ohio. We purchased gifts that were wrapped by the wonderful Senior citizens from the Bethesda Senior Center. They volunteered their time to wrap over 750 large and small gifts. Over 90 children in town received gifts for Christmas. We handed out other gifts throughout the year to random children playing in the parks or apartments. A few even invited me to their Birthday and Graduation ceremonies making me feel even more appreciated. For our Christmas with Cops 2024 Celebration, I would l like to take at least ten children from the Village of Bethesda and Goshen Township on a shopping trip for Christmas. I would also like to purchase at least 4 or 5 gifts for every child in Bethesda and Goshen Township. If you have children up to age 18, please sign them up for the drawing. *All children may sign up for gifts. If you have already won a shopping spree with us, you cannot enter that again. We will need your Child's name, male or female, age, mailing address, email and phone number as well as the parent's or guardian's names. I would still like to include your children if you do not celebrate Christmas. Registration forms will be available in September 2024. If we raise enough, I would like to have Breakfast with Santa Claus and my Officers. No child will be left giftless in Bethesda or Goshen Township. Donations of new, unopened toys can be left at city hall. Monetary donations can be left there, or you can donate here through LFEBridge. Please make checks out to Bethesda Police Department and write CHRISTMAS WITH COPS 2024 in the memo line. Please mail them to BETHESDA POLICE DEPARTMENT, 112 Main Street, P.O. Box 95, Bethesda, Ohio 43719. Our goal is $10,000.00 in donations to cover all expenses. Thank you in advance for your generosity, Christopher Storm Chief of Police Bethesda Police Department Christmas with a Cop 2024 registration forms are available at Crowned Owl Barber Shop, the Library, Administration Building, gas station, and Post Office in town. Please fill it out completely and turn to the Police Department before October 29, 2024. Thank you, Christopher Storm Chief of Police Bethesda Ohio
