On July 11, 2024, Christ Church, Montpelier, Vermont suffered severe damage from flooding. Our historic 160-year-old Sanctuary was impacted requiring the pews and flooring to be removed. Additionally, the undercroft, the parish hall, and its basement flooded. We are raising money for flood mitigation and restoration. It is important to get the mitigation started immediately before any mold sets in. Christ Church is a vital member of the Montpelier community, serving those in our own parish and in the larger community through our feeding ministry, hosting the winter shelter for those living outdoors, providing space for community concerts and meetings, and other essential outreach programs. We thank you for your generosity! The Rev. Kevin Holland Sparrow, Priest-in-Charge The Vestry, Clergy & People of Christ Church, Montpelier
