On July 5th, Chris was life flighted to St. Joseph hospital for a life changing event. After an MRI was done, it was determined that Chris had a middle cerebral artery stroke. He will be completely paralyzed on the left side of his body. At this time, he is still intubated in the ICU and the severity of damage is not known besides the paralysis. He will have many months of physical therapy and not be able to do his job as deputy assistant Wildland fire warden for C-PTPA. Chris has worked for C-PTPA since 1997. Chris has a wife, Christina, and two boys, Jerrod (15) & Dustin (13), who's life will be forever changed. They live in Elk River and the closest medical facility is over an hour away. Any donations will help the family with medical expenses and day to day living. For those not wanting to use this donation platform, an account is to be opened at LCCU for donations also for Chris and his family
