A few weeks ago, Janis experienced the unfortunate event of having her car stolen. The situation took a devastating turn when her car was later found wrecked and inoperable. While she navigates the complicated process of car repairs, Janis has been informed that she will be without transportation for an extended period. The repairs are estimated to begin at the end of July, at the earliest, leaving her stranded and in a state of distress. In addition to the emotional toll this event has taken on Janis, it has caused severe financial strain. She is now faced with the daunting challenge of paying her car note for a non-drivable vehicle while simultaneously trying to cover the costs of alternative transportation. She is faced with the challenge of pharmacy, grocery store, doctor visits, and managing her daily obligations entirely on foot. This has left Janis in an overwhelming predicament, forcing her to make difficult financial decisions that compromise her well-being. Considering the sweltering heat of the season, this situation adds immense physical and emotional strain. Janis's strength and resilience have been evident throughout her life, as she has triumphed over significant medical issues and personal obstacles. Her dedication to her work and her genuine kindness have touched the lives of everyone around her.
