Employees of Willmeng Construction are once again teaming up to build something special! We need A LOT OF FOOD CANS for this project. By giving what you can you will be donating to a very worthy cause -- feeding the hungry!! This is a 100% volunteer participation event meaning that almost all proceeds goes toward the purchase of the cans to build our project (a little bit goes towards some supplies needed to build it). All food will then be donated to St. Mary's Food Bank. This is an official Canstruction metro-area Competition where AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) industry professionals compete building structures made out of full cans of food which then get donated to St. Mary's Food Bank. Each year the AEC industry participates in this event in Phoenix. Teams are established that typically consist of an Architecture firm, an Engineering firm, and a Construction company. Each team is responsible for fundraising to obtain the cans they need to design their Canstruction masterpiece.
