Cam Defibrillator Group has been operating since 2009. We have a system of 15 units distributed around the parish in key locations so that nobody is more than a mile from a lifesaving defibrillator. Following our last round of fundraising, we were able to replace and update all of the batteries and most of the defibrillator units. With this round of fundraising, we aim to complete the outstanding updates of the units. We have also provided training for over 80 volunteers so far, and plan to have expanded training next autumn. Your continued support is greatly appreciated to keep this life saving community-based system up to HSE and international standards.
