Dear friends, family and compassionate individuals, I stand before you today with a heartfelt plea to help me re-build the masjid that was the place of worship in my village, Bara Bhim in Bangladesh. Over the many past years my grandfather, then my father along with others had helped provide for the upkeep of our village masjid, however over recent years the masjid’s foundation had become so damaged, the mosque had to be demolished to the ground. I’ve watched and listened to sad cries of this happening that I have now taken on the personal responsibility to help and support with the endeavour to rebuild the mosque for the village people. I intend to raise £40,000 by 15th October with the intention to begin re-constructing from 1st November.  The masjid, not merely a structure of bricks and mortar, but a scared space that will hold prayers, bring together our village community, ignite the spark of knowledge within our children, and extend a helping hand to those less fortunate among us. I cannot do this alone and humbly plea for your generous support to kindly make a donation so that we can re- construct the masjid for our village people. In a world often defined by divisions, let us come together in the spirit of human compassion and our ability to uplift, unite and bring solace to those in need. Your contribution, no matter how small, has the power to create a profound impact on the lives of our village community. Please open your hearts and consider making a donation today.  All donations will be used 100% to the rebuild of the Masjid.  With gratitude and hope, Akhtar
