Remember all the fun we had playing GaGa in the Rec Hall and the Pavilion? Well, this year, we’re raising funds to build a GaGa pit at the Goodhue Community Center on Staten Island. Please donate today so that we can bring that experience to the great kids at Goodhue. The Goodhue Community Center, a program of Children’s Aid, has served residents of Staten Island since 1912. Today, Goodhue is a full-service community center offering a range of resources and programs such as academic enrichment, hands-on STEM learning, life skills workshops, fitness activities, and much more. Programming at Goodhue is designed to build a sense of community, promote social-emotional development, foster motivation for school success, and provide youth with the enrichment needed to break the cycle of poverty. The center serves approximately 500 children and youth annually, including 350 summer camp participants and 150 after-school participants. Let’s help this terrific community center build its GaGa pit!
