Bobby D was in a terrible accident over the weekend, he was cleaning out the bed of a dump truck when 2 ton of asphalt slid down and landed on his lap. Bobby is stable and is in the hospital. He had both of his legs amputated just below the knee cap. Bobby has been in the paving business for the last 30+ years he is a very good man. Some of you may even know him for he has laid asphalt on many different crews from New York to California. Bob is the last of the real ones one day after surgery Bob is already talking about how he is ready for prosthetics and ready to get back to work. I would rather lay mix with Bob than men by the thousands. Sometimes we can forget how rough this business is and how our life can be altered in less than a second.
