Hello Family and Friends far and wide! ☺️ It’s that time again. As many of you know, every year children in our communities gear up around this time of year to return to school to meet new teachers, see old friends, make new ones, and start new educational journeys. Some students however will struggle to join in on the fun with their peers and engage in academics, because they lack the basic necessities for school. No kid should have to worry about whether they will have a backpack, notebook, pen or pencil for the school year - so my goal is to partner with the wonderful people at Bethany Christian Church to provide as many free backpacks and school supplies to the families in my local community as I can! With your donation, for the 2nd year in a row, I will be purchasing: - Backpacks - College and wide-ruled notebooks - Graph paper - Pencil cases - Crayon packs ️ - Colored pencil packs ✏️ - Pens ️ - Pencils - Markers - Erasers - Binders - Folders - Glue sticks - Scissors ✂️ - Highlighters All of these items will be packed into ready-made backpacks for students and donated to local Fort Worth community schools. ❤️☺️ Your donation will also be used to purchase classroom supplies for teachers such as: - Kleenex - Dry erase markers - Disinfectant wipes These will also be donated to local schools. My goal is to have all donations collected and supplies purchased by August 17th, so that some of the readymade backpacks can be distributed at Bethany Christian Church’s Worship Service!
