once again the LeBlanc family needs your prayers & help,.. Sunday, July 29, our son Joshua was in a bad car accident - he was brought to Memorial Hermann Trauma Center by Life Flight...he broke his femur completely in half, & the top part of the bone twisted & fell about 4 inches... he was placed in traction for 12 hours... he also broke many of the small bones in the top of his foot, bruised several ribs & hit his head on the windshield...they did surgery on Monday, & set the femur & the hip with screws... they've been trying to get him up & walking, but when he sits or stands he gets dizzy & lightheaded... today they got him up, but he fainted after taking a few steps... so far, they haven't found out why he's passing out... he doesn't remember getting into the accident, but it's possible that he passed out while driving... we know his heart rate had been very low, & during surgery, it shot up very high, but after a bunch of cardiac tests they still haven't found a reason for the blackouts...at this point, we don't know when he'll be released from the hospital... he was to start a new job on monday, but they had to replace him...he has no insurance, no disability coverage, & his wife doesn't work, as she has 3 children at home to care for... currently, there's is no income or savings available to pay the mortgage, the utilities or for food...once he is home we can try to apply for food stamps, but they were denied the last time they applied...unfortunately, I am on disability, & i just don't have enough to support them & myself, though I have helped as much as I can since monday... in addition, the car was completely totaled, so even when he is able to return to work eventually, the family currently doesn't have a vehicle, as his was the only one they owned... at this point it looks like it will be at least 2 months before he will be able to return to work, if he can replace his transportation... any help would be greatly appreciated... & if you could please share this that works be amazing... i don't have the same reach on social media that my beloved Jeff had... thank you..,
