As many of you have heard, my mom, Ann Shadwell's, house burned last night. The fire started with a stove burner accidentally being barely turned on, and ended with the entire house being engulfed in flames. This is devestating for my mom. Most of you know her, she is the friendly, upbeat, never meets a stranger, hilarious mother of mine. I am beyond thankful that she is ok, above all else. Unfortunately, this fire left her with nothing but the clothes on her back. It took all of her possessions, clothes, shoes, household items, groceries, linens, everything. The most heartbreaking of all though, is the things you cannot replace- old pictures, things Presley has made, the last belongings of my deceased father. I cannot think of a better word than this is ultimately devestating. My mom is lost and my heart is absolutely broken for her. I cannot imagine losing everything. Everything you have worked for your entire life. Everything that means the most to you. But- I know our God has a plan. I cannot wrap my head around WHY. Why my mom- why now.  All I can do is ask for help. Not only financial help to help her get back on her feet, but the continued prayers. I do not know the appropriate amount of money to ask for- as I cannot imagine how much money it will take to replace the every day items she will have to have at this time. I just want to do whatever I can to ease this burden and heartache on her. No matter the amount, it will be so appreciated. I thank every one of you and am so thankful to have such great friends and family coming offering to help. We love you all and appreciate the prayers and positive thoughts.
