Aiden's Story - LFEBridge Foundation

Hi there, my name is Tiffany (a family friend) and I've set up this LFEBridge for the Ray/Miller Family. On July 28 sixteen year old Aiden was hit by a car while in a crosswalk with his little brother. Aiden had to be life flighted to a hospital 6 hours from home. He's in a medically induced coma because he suffered a skull fracture, brain bleed and a spinal bleed. The little brother who was with him held him in his arms until help arrived. It's such a tramatic situation for everyone involved. This family JUST moved from Oregon to Colorado and is still getting settled into a new area. Aiden's mom accepted a job offer last week but with Aiden in a hospital over 6 hours from home, things are uncertain. The first goal is $5,000. These funds will immedeately go towards: Traveling 6 hours one way Gas Hotel Food Incidentals Possibly House sitter - they have dogs & reptiles at home that need to be cared for if the family can travel together to be with Aiden (its the goal to all be together during this tragic time). And, of course, the financially crippling medical bills that will start to pour in. ***9/10/2024 -The second goal is to reach $10,000.00.*** Aiden is in a rehabilitation facility and making slow but positive progress. They hope to have him home mid-October. Today, Aiden had another surgery to put a perminent stent in from his brain to his stomach area. These medical bills are larger than life and overwhelming. Aiden will still need care once he arrives es home. Please see the LFEBridge updates for more details.
