Hello all, My name is Shahab Sayedi. I am a UMKC student studying chemistry. I am from Afghanistan and migrated to the USA in 2015. As you all know Afghanistan is going through a humanitarian crisis right now and people are suffering from hunger and unemployment. I had made a fundraiser about a year and a half ago and was able to raise over $1070 (91902.30 AFG) that is A LOT of money! That money helped over 15 families have food for their next two months, and over 30 children have coats for winter. This time I am traveling to Afghanistan myself in august to visit family, I think it would also be a great opportunity to help the needies in person. My goal is to buy families food supplies such as rice, beans, flour, and oil. This usually ranges between $70-$100 and could feed a family of 8 for about 2 months. I will also buy the kids on the street some new clothes which range from about $5-$10. Therefore, any amount of contribution or sharing this with family and friends would be greatly appreciated. I will attach some pictures from the last fundraiser. please email me at [email redacted]m if you have any questions or would like to see more picture. Thank you very much! I will keep you updated!
