Please help 9 yr old burn victim, Jamil and his family as they navigate through this horrible accident on top of an already desperate crisis! Jamil has 1st, 2nd & 3rd degree burns on almost 40% of his body after another child was playing with a gas can near a fire pit. His older sister saved his life by putting out the flames & removing his clothes. He has already undergone 3 surgeries & has a long road ahead of him. On top of this horrible accident, this family recently moved to the area fleeing an abusive situation! Mom and 4 children are struggling desperately to make ends meet & keep a roof over their heads as a pending eviction looms. With no transportation, they rely on city buses which also costs money. They really don’t know hardly anyone in the area and are drowning fast! Kelly is strong but needs help. We have exhausted what few resources there are and she now has to put every ounce of her time & energy into helping & being with Jamil.
