Hi there, my name is Josh Clarkson and I am a very close friend of Jessica. Jessica is only 23 years young, very motivated, ambitious, the most caring person I have ever met, and she over extends herself to look after everyone else before her own needs. She is far too young to be nearly bed ridden daily. This fundraiser is in place on behalf of Jessica for a mandatory emergency heart surgery. She is very hard working and needs to be very active daily from sun up to sun down, and her condition extremely limits her daily function to the point of temporary disability until they can relieve the condition. She has had Supraventricular Tachycardia since 2019, and experiences hourly intermittent palpitations that cause dizziness, light headedness, chest pain and syncope episodes that makes it extremely difficult/nearly impossible to work with every day. Her quality of life was described by her cardiologists as low and steadily declining, and she has had an SVT ablation to try and burn the nodes in her heart that were causing the irregular rhythms. It’s rare that the surgery does not fix the problem right away and after having another post op appointment with her surgical team, it has been decided that she needs a second one ASAP. She sold her car among multiple other valuable personal items to afford her last trip and it was not expected to have to make the trip again. The funds will go directly to Jessica and her family to alleviate financial stress from travel and board and medical expenses. This fundraiser will make her life livable, and much less miserable. This surgery is life changing for her. It is mandatory, and expensive. Any support or help is incredibly appreciated, but please do not feel obligated to donate. Thank you all for reading.
