As many of you know, 2 dogs hot dogs operates here in the village of Highland Falls & all over Orange County. My wife and I run it as a partnership and we are both volunteers with the fire department. As we were out helping our community, our basement was being flooded - and although we didn’t get hit nearly as badly as a lot of other residences, we lost all of our refrigeration, freezers, ice machine, food, dry goods, and cleaning supplies for our business. we are asking for help so we can get back open. I hate to even make one of these but I don’t know what else to do. We have reached out to our homeowners insurance and none of this is covered as we were unable to get flood insurance since we don’t live in a flood zone. We’ve run out of options. Our business income is critical to our households survival. We need our business equipment back so we can get back to work and get the bills paid . Any excess funds that are we received will be donated to the highland falls fire department. Thank you for reading and for your support through this difficult time
