DonkeyTube is organizing this fundraiser to benefit The Gateway to Heaven Saint John the Baptist and St. Arsema EOT Monastery in California. As part of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, Saint John the Baptist and St. Arsema EOT Monastery was established July 2024 and purchased its current property in 2024. This property is located in San Miguel California. The Monastery’s mission is not just to provide religious services to faithful followers of the church but to also be a center of hope. Hope for those that seek solace, enlightenment, and peace. Back in November 2024, we organized our first fundraiser to help Saint John the Baptist and St. Arsema EOT Monastery purchase this land. While our first fundraiser helped raise a considerable amount of fund, it was not enough to cover the full purchase price. Hence the Monastery was forced to forced to resort to loans. So let’s join forces once again to raise fund for Saint John the Baptist and St. Arsema EOT Monastery. The fund we will be raising with this campaign will go towards: Pay off the remaining loan balance Cover the cost to build shelter for Monastery Visitors and Summer Camp attendants
