Sister Zipporah Oyondi, " Zippy" is a single mother of a 4 years old son. Zippy has been a resident of Indiana State in the Michiana Area for over 10 years. Zippy, originally from Kenya, is a kind, loving, warm-hearted lady, who makes everybody’s burden hers. On October 1st 2015, Zippy was found unresponsive, with her son lying down next to her. She had suffered a massive stroke, she was taken to Elkhart General Hospital Emergency Room and later admitted to ICU with paralysis on her right side of the body and it had also affected her ability to speak! Zippy has no immedite family in the United States, her road to recovery will take long period of time hence she will not be able to go back to work to support herself and her son. Her Hospital care, and long term care includes intensive physical therapy and speech therapy.We as friends are supporting her and helping defray some of the costs, and we are kindly asking for your help.Sister Zippy is confined to a wheel chair, She will need round the clock care, and she will have the care of her son to contend with.
