Hi, my name is LaDoshia Earle and I created this LFEBridge for my daughter Zanaja Sumter. She is 22 years old and trying to maintain her independency inspite of! On October of 2015 doctors found 2 1/2 inches of fluid around her heart and she had to undergo major surgery. She was left with a flap opening around the heart to drain any fluid that may build up. She was in PICU, with a chest tube and was discharged the end of November 2015 with NO diagnose. At this time her Lupus test came back negative. In 2019 Zanaja started experiencing symptoms of Lupus and I asked her Rheumatologist to retest her for Lupus. The test came back positive. She is on and has gone through several medications and has Lupus Flare Ups where some may last longer than others. Last year it was confirmed that the Lupus is trying to attack her kidneys, therfore she had to have 6 rounds of Kemo within 3 months. Zanaja is currently hospitalized, after passing out in public, since Thursday June 29, 2024. She has Pneumonia, fluid in her left lung, a severe Lupus Flare Up, No strength in her legs to stand or walk and body pain. She (we) do not have health insurance, Medicaid was terminated weeks prior without notice! Zanaja has a older sister (who has a Autoimmune Deficiency) and a twin sister. She's trying hard to maintain her independency by working and attending ECPI University to become a LPN. Medical bills are adding up, she's not able to work, she has tuition and household bills with her apartment. My husband, her sisters and I are doing the Best we can, considering I too have medical issues due to be a Cancer survivor! I know money is tight for everyone but if you are able to Donate, Share this post, or even say a Prayer, we will Greatly Appreciate it!! All money raised will go towards Zanaja's medical expenses, medications, any equipment and her financial needs. If you have any questions you may reach me by phone (for those who have my number), or Facebook Messenger and I will get back with you as soon as I can. Thanks for your Support!
