Mike Adams is a 62-year-old husband and father in Santa Paula, California. He left the corporate working world 5 years ago to fulfill his dream of being a full-time furniture maker and he made that dream a reality, becoming a master craftsman producing works of incredible beauty and functionality from natural wood. In June 2024, Mike went to the ER for an unrelated injury and an X-ray revealed a large malignant tumor in his upper chest. He has stage 4 metastatic melanoma and is receiving aggressive immunotherapy infusion treatment. He continues to make furniture on a scaled-back schedule to support himself and keep his mind occupied as he meets the challenges of his advanced illness. Mike and his family have uncovered medical bills and income loss. Being a self-employed artist, he is ineligible for workman’s comp and most disability programs. He is a selfless and generous person who makes the world a better place and is loved by his friends and family. Your gift will help Mike focus on his health and, hopefully, enjoy many more years of life. Any donation, however small or large, will be gratefully accepted.
