As some of you may know, I have been battling an autoimmune disease called Lupus since 19 years old. As the disease progresses, it has been been affecting my kidneys and red blood cells. Beginning June 2024, I was told that I am in stage 3 of chronic kidney disease with anemia and has been constantly admitted to the hospital for blood transfusions and chemotherapy treatments. I am currently on a weekly schedule for IV infusions for chemotherapy and bone marrow injections. I am now a 24 year old, full time student at Fontbonne University on my last semester before I graduate. Throughout college, it has been a struggle to fight this battle and focus on school but I am doing it slowly but surely. My insurance has skyrocketed past what I can afford and I won’t be able to receive my medications. This is the last thing I’d want to do, but I have no other options at this point and I don’t want to have to give up on living a normal life. With these donations, I can raise enough money to not only pay my overdue medical bills, but I can afford my school bills without worry and take stress off myself and my Lupus. Thank you for anything and everything.
