Hello everyone. My name is AJ Torres. I am the grandson of Kerry Hamilton. The picture shows my wonderful MawMaw with myself at my high school graduation, and my sister, her granddaughter. This was during a time of great happiness in her life, as her husband, Rusty Hamilton, had not passed away yet, all her grandchildren were living close and seen on a daily basis, and health issues were at a minimum. Unfortunately, as the years have passed, time has not been her friend. As mentioned, it started just 7 years ago when her husband Rusty passed away and she began to feel alone. Her children and grandchildren began to move away, due to their own life activities, leaving her feeling just that much more alone. During this time, she has had numerous health issues come up, that practically prevents her from leaving the house, except to go to the grocery store or for Doctor visits. As 1 of her grandchildren, I am currently living with her and helping as much as I possibly can, but as of recently, her car began to have major issues, stranding her at home with no way to get her groceries, medicines, or make those Doctor visits. Noone, especially her, can afford to have it repaired currently. What I am asking your help for is the cost of repairs to get her car back in running condition to give her back a small sense of her freedom and allow her to go to the Doctor and store as she needs to. Unfortunately, I am working all through the week, leaving her stranded at home alone with no way to get anywhere in an emergency. Any help that anyone could provide in this matter would be greatly appreciated. We are not normally accustomed to asking for help, I guess it was the way we were raised, but when times become desperate, you reach for those that can provide the help you need and we trust in our faith that things will be provided for.
