+++ Back in August of 2019 … + Para Professional educator in the KC metro area + Ran a D1 recruiting service for college basketball coaches around the USA + Lived with my 84 year old aging mother in NE KS helping her with life … Life was going well – – – November of 2024, life suddenly went uphill and fast … COVID-19 hit the Wind’s … – The basketball service evaporated and went away due to COVID-19 and the Portal – I had to move to Overland Park. I couldn’t put my 84 year old mother in harm’s way – All the sudden I had $1000+ of expenses that I didn’t have living with my Mom ,,, Life was a struggle – – – May 31, 2024, I missed 2 steps on my way to the laundry room and ended up with a detached tendon in my left knee … – I had surgery on June 28 at Indian Creek Hospital – Because the school district I worked for had a VERY high deductible hospital plan, I now have expenses reaching $6000 and we haven’t even started Physical Therapy – My $15 an hour Para Professional position in public education isn’t going to pay for many of these excessive medical bills … Life has become the ultimate challenge. +++ With your help and financial giving, I can pay ALL my bills and make this work!
