William Tramale Ealy is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas and has been working as an educator in the state of Texas for the past 17 years. He has served students in a variety of roles from teacher to varsity basketball coach, and has spent his last few years in education administration. He is active in the TABSE (Texas Association of Black School Educators) where he is currently serving on the TABSE Leadership team. Around June 22, 2024, William began showing symptoms of headache, fever, nausea, and a stiff neck. His symptoms progressed to having double vision, episodes of loss of consciousness, and difficulty with communication. After many tests and days of uncertainty, he was determined to be seriously infected with meningitis, which also caused seizures, vasculitis, and small vessel strokes to occur. After weeks away from work and many tests to figure out the diagnosis, we are now making progress with treatment. Recovery will be long and expensive. William is currently at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Waco. Many have asked how they can help, which led William (and his family) to create this LFEBridge campaign to assist with the substantial costs that are accumulating as his treatment continues. If you are able to donate and be a blessing to William, your help and support would be invaluable. Your donations would go towards the costs of treatment, medications, transportation, rehabilitation and recovery efforts. If you are unable to contribute at this time, a share with your friends and family would mean the world to us as well. Each one of your prayers are greatly appreciated.
