Hello friends & family, Tony's sister and brother- in-law, Billy and Anna Jennings have had more than their share of troubles this year. We need help! In December of 2024, Anna was diagnosed with cancer, she has since undergone major surgery, chemotherapy and is beginning her next round of treatment. For the first two months, Billy was a huge help to Anna, but by mid-February, the stress got to him and he suffered a massive stroke, then he had to have brain surgery. He was lucky to have survived... After spending two weeks in the hospital and three weeks in a rehabilitation facility, he went home to be with his wife, to recover and get stronger for his next big surgery. He planned to continue speech, physical and occupational therapy at home, arranged by the rehabilitation center, they assured Billy and Anna that this was approved by their insurance company and not to worry about anything, but in fact the insurance company denied homecare. Anna has been trying, diligently and unsuccessfully to try to get the insurance company to approve him outside the home for rehabilitation, all this in between battling cancer, going to chemotherapy and finding a way to get to her doctor's appointments. She is also trying to arrange transportation to and from the facility if he gets approved. As a result, Billy is quickly declining in speech, language and physical mobility. He has lost the use of his right arm, because he has not had therapy of any kind since being discharged from the rehab center. Anna is still trying, hoping and praying to hear from the insurance company. Their out-of-pocket medical bills are over $18,000 after insurance coverage. Neither one of them has been able to work at all this year. Family members have helped a great deal but the cost of medical care it is way more than the family can afford. While waiting for the insurance company to decide they are trying to arrange therapy at their own expense, so Billy can get the care he needs but this will cost over and above the $18,000 they owe. If anyone reading this can sympathize with their circumstances and can donate even the slightest amount, please know that your help is appreciated more than words can say. Thank you in advance from Billy, Anna, their children and our entire family
