Go fund me My name is Sinead, I’m a 45 year old single mother this is my youngest daughter Izabell. Im asking for your help and support to get a customized wheelchair to help give me some independence back and to relieve my beautiful 11 year old from some responsibility in caring for me, as she starts secondary school in September. I know that she’s worried that I’ll be unable to do so many things without her amazing support. I want to relieve her of this burden and stress to give her the chance at a great secondary school experience. But to also allow me to move around outside home more freely without the need to ask for the help of strangers. I have a degenerative spinal condition that is currently affecting 4 areas of my spine, and due to an accident at 19 yrs old my pelvis is fixed with 36 screws and 8 metal plates, I spent many years fighting against everything doctors told me I couldn’t do including walking, having children, and even being an active athlete, but due to my hard work and strength I happily have 4 children and I became a personal Trainer and a very active woman, I worked very hard to be the best I could be. I’d hoped I had many more years before arthritis and the damage caused in my accident would put me in a wheelchair. But sometimes life just happens. In short, even with the local authorities grant towards a bespoke wheelchair there’s no way I can afford the £4890.56. This chair will give me the freedom to go for days out with my family and allow me to have a social life and even let me go to my regular supermarket without being scared as I can’t lift my chair into my van. I thank you for reading my story and for any donation you are able to give me.X
