Hey all! I am doing a BIRTHDAY fundraiser for my loving brother, Jerry. He is in need of this ONE SPECIFIC THING, and we need your help!As most of you may know on November 2, 2024 my brother, Jerry, was hit on his motorcycle by a woman with 9 prior charges of driving a vehicle without a drivers license. March of this year, she was FOUND GUILTY of driving without a license while causing serious bodily injury/death. She was sentenced to the maximum sentence of 5 years!! We were elated as a family with that outcome.However, that doesn’t help with the enormous struggles Jerry faces in his day to day life. He has come SO SO SOOOO far. Physically, mentally, spiritually, all of it. He’s made amazing progress and we are so proud of him and the hurdles he has overcome.Now to the birthday gift….Recently, my brother applied for a grant to get a special wheelchair that would be much more comfortable, easier for him to maneuver and a lighter weight. We found out today, that to our dismay he was denied for this grant. He is in need of just over $5,000 to get him this wheelchair. This will allow him more comfortability, freedom and another level of independence that he is in need of.I couldn’t think of a better gift to give him for his birthday on July 17th.Any amount that you can donate to help make this wish come true for him would be greatly appreciated by all of us.
