Dear Friends and Family, We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and a plea for support. On the evening of July 6th, 2024, tragedy struck our lives. Warren was involved in a devastating motorcycle that changed his life forever. We are humbly asking for help raising money to cover the extensive medical treatment and expenses that lie ahead. That night he went for a ride not knowing he wouldn't make it home. He was only one block away from the house, when a teen driver who had been smoking marijuana, failed to yield the right of way, took a left turn and cut in front of Warren crashing into him head-on. She was found completely at fault. The impact was severe. Warren was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he was unconscious and unresponsive. As a result of the accident, he received multiple emergency surgeries including a spinal fusion and entire pelvic and hip surgery where they used rods, plates, screws, and pins. A few days Later, he received surgery for his arm, and his tibia using large rods, plates and screws. In the coming weeks, Warren will require extensive medical care for all of his injuries. His list of injuries is extensive, and may be hard to read.. it includes traumatic brain injury, bleeding in the brain, bleeding behind his lung, 11 broken ribs, collapsed lung, a broken sternum, a broken arm, an open broken leg w/ inability to move left leg, and nerve damage. The fact that he is still with us today is an absolute miracle in itself! The future is uncertain, and we anticipate there will be numerous medical procedures and treatments on Warren's road to recovery. The past week has been unimaginably difficult for Warren, his family and friends. The financial strain we are now facing is immense, we now have to navigate medical bills, future rehabilitation costs, and the uncertainties surrounding Warren's recovery. Warren will need OT, PT, counseling, home equipment / potential home modifications, a wheelchair, and undoubtedly all sorts of things we aren’t even aware of yet. We are asking for your support, both emotionally and financially, during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a tangible difference in easing the burden of medical expenses for Warren and his family. Your generous donations will go towards covering hospital bills, rehabilitation programs, necessary medical equipment, and potential future procedures. Please eep Warren in your thoughts and prayers. The road to recovery will undoubtedly be challenging, and your moral support will provide him with the strength and courage he needs to face each obstacle.
