Aloha! We are starting a fundraiser to help cover the next two years of costs for Warren’s cancer treatment. Last year Warren was diagnosed with Stage 4 advanced Small Cell Lung Cancer which metastasis to his brain. The brain tumor was treated with radiation and has responded well. He has undergone radiation and chemotherapy treatment for the lung cancer which has been successful in stopping the growth and continued spread of the cancer thus far. The doctors are continuing to monitor him with MRI’s of the brain and chest CT scans every three months. He has had to stop working which has left his wife Susan to be the sole provider for their family. For the next two years he will be doing Keytruda immunotheraphy. The copayment for Keytruda immunotherapy every three weeks will be $2000. For the next two years, he will be paying $84,000 out of pocket to complete his immunotherapy. His doctors have told us that he will likely never be cancer free, but they believe they can manage the cancer with proper treatment. mahalo nui for all of your support!
