Hi FB Family and Friends. I am writing this GFM page to let you know my husband, Jerry Provencio has been very sick with cancer and chronic liver disease. It's been a long fight! We went to Portland a couple of weeks ago and he had so many tests done to determine whether or not he would be eligible to get on the list for a liver transplant. PRAISE GOD WE GOT THE CALL!!! He is now on the list. God is so good! They said it may take 6 months, but we all know what God can do. We are preparing to take our RV to OHSU where he will be having the surgery. The surgery will take about 8 to 12 hours, and he will have to be in the hospital for about a week or two. Then we will have to be there for about 3 months so OHSU can monitor him and make sure his body does not reject his new liver. We will have to pay for an RV spot and living expenses which is expensive in Portland. While we are there we will also have to pay for our mortgage and other expenses here. We have medicare, but it doesn't cover everything (specialty doctors, tests, home care, prescriptions, etc.). We are asking you to find it in your heart and to pray about it and give however the Lord leads. Pastor Jerry has a huge heart. He has had a tough life, his whole family being split up when he was only 10, living on the streets and he has been healed by God countless times. He then traveled preaching the Word overseas as well as in the U.S. He has helped so many people for there basics needs and especially leading them to Christ. I would love him preaching again soon and God is not done with him yet. Besides I can't wait to share with all of you on what God is going to do in our future!
