This urgent fundraiser is for Jacob, a 60-year-old man residing in Fiji, who has unfortunately been diagnosed with a heart disease referred to as Mitral Stenosis with Atrial Fibrillation. Jacob requires a Mitral Valve Replacement Surgery in India and due to his age-related risk factor, he also needs a Coronary Angiogram that needs to be performed as soon as possible to determine if he has associated Coronary Heart Disease. If this is the case, Jacob will require a Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery additionally. Jacob and his family need your urgent help in donations as he has been advised by his treating doctors in Fiji and heart specialists in India to undergo these surgeries within the next 6 weeks to avoid any major prolonged complications. The family of Jacob cannot do this alone and is currently facing financial challenges to cover the cost of the entire treatment themselves. As Jacob resides in Fiji, he will need to travel overseas to India to be treated for around a total of 30 days, to ensure he is on the road to recovery without the possibility of any further complications during his travel back to Fiji, to his family.
