INCREDIBLE UPDATE! PLEASE READ AND HELP IF YOU CAN!!! We are all in shock! With less than 48 hours left until they depart from Canada back to Mexico, MP John Brassard came to Maria and Luis's house, telling them they have a 90-day reprieve and he is working on helping them remain in Canada permanently!! This is the miracle they have been praying for. However, they have already sold EVERYTHING they own that they cannot pack in a suitcase, not to mention Luis had to quit his job. They have to start over again, so please, let's rally around them one more time! Please donate anything that you possibly can. They will also need donations of furniture and all household items. If you want to donate furniture or household items, please email me, and I will put you in touch with the family. Also, please SHARE SHARE SHARE this LFEBridge with everyone you know. All of your letters and donations have made a huge difference; let's keep helping!!! Unfortunate upate: First of all, thank you to everyone who found it in their hearts to donate to the family. They are incredibly grateful to each and everyone one of you. The money we raised helped them to apply for humanitarian and compassion, but after a long fought battle, no compassion was granted. Unfortunately, they will be moving back to Mexico next month. Although they are devastated, they will always hold Canadian’s in high regard due to the love and generosity they experienced from people like you. I am going to leave this fundraiser open, as they could use more help. If you have donated in the past, please do not feel obligated to do so again, but please do share this fundraiser if you can. Every little bit will help them with their moving expenses. Once again, thank you everyone who has supported this family, through letters and donations. Hello, my name is Sarah and I am raising funds for an amazing family that has just received devastating news that their family is being deported. With the support of their neighbours they tried everything to have the decision overturned, and sadly they were denied. They are beyond devastated and our community is too. Unfortunately, their financial situation does not leave them with much room for moving expenses, let alone plane tickets. I am hoping that we as a community we can raise some money to help get them back to Mexico safely, and into a new home. They will also need to find jobs in Mexico which can be more challenging than here in Canada. This family is near and dear to my family’s heart and I want to help make this transition as smooth as possible for them while they deal with the grief of losing the future they had planned for their family in Canada. Please contribute if you can. Your kindness will mean the world to this beautiful family.
