If you know Eric then you know he puts his heart into everything he does. Being a loving husband, active father, stepdad, grandpa and traveling member of the IMFC. On Monday, June 26, 2024, Eric's wife, Brenda, woke up to her worst nightmare. Her Eric was having a medical emergency and stopped breathing. She performed CPR on him for 10 minutes before the paramedics arrived. They took over and did another 40 minutes of CPR, shocked his heart 5 times and gave 5 doses of epinephrine, the maximum they are allowed to do to finally get a faint heartbeat. After 3 days in the ICU on a ventilator Eric was life flighted to Albuquerque, NM in the middle of the night. Fast-forward a week, our prayers were answered and we have our miracle. Eric is awake and talking. He still has a long road to recovery, broken sternum and all his ribs. This happens when they do almost an hour of CPR on you. He's off the ventilator and sits up in the chair. And best of all, he knows and loves his family. This LFEBridge is to help Eric and Brenda with daily bills while he recovers. The doctors are hopeful and realistic. He is looking at a bit longer in the hospital to heal his kidneys before heading to an inpatient rehab facility. No amount is too small if you can help.
