Please donate, boost/share <3This fund is to raise money for Twin’s (formerly Cindy) gender affirming top surgery scheduled for August 8, 2024. They are currently self-employed working full-time as a tattoo artist and will need to take about 6 weeks off to heal, due to the physical nature of their job. In preparation, they have fulfilled the requirements for insurance to cover most of the surgery cost. However, there is a costly deductible as well as additional expenses that are not covered. Twin has been working hard towards saving, though they are in need of more assistance to reach their goal. All of the money raised will pay for the medical bills, living expenses including food, rent and bills, and recovery supplies for the weeks they will be healing and out of work. From Twin: This surgery is a gesture of deep psychological healing and one I have dreamed of and needed to follow through with for years. A surgery that comes with no light consideration as I have experienced much dysphoria to bring me to this procedure for relief. I am asking for the people in my life to help with financially covering and recovering from top surgery, and only if you are in a position to do so. Truly any amount will help. In recovering from this surgery, it will be a slow transition back to financially sustaining myself as my job requires my whole upper body to do so. I want to express immense gratitude to everyone I’ve spoken to leading up to this, and to those closest to me who will be at my side to care for and support me all the way through healing.
